The above statement is not true because there are many areas of communication you can thrive in as an introvert. Most times when people say the above statement, they say it with the belief that they have to appear on camera, host a radio show, or do some heavy networking. You can be in communications and never face a camera or appear on TV because you can choose to pursue a career in internal communications, digital marketing, social media management, content strategy, data translation, copywriting, and more. Listening I know I have talked about active listening a lot of times but this is one of the most important elements of communication.
